Thanks to all that checked death notices for me. there may not have been any printed, but I know that they were there, as that is where my grandfather was born. He was born John Cullen Ryan on June 2,1867, but for some reason, he later changed his name to William John Ryan. It is possible that his father could have Been John Ryan, as I have found out that in Ireland during the early times, a boy was often times born with two names and later picked up his fathers first name as his middle name. There also were two sisters that were born there but died at an early age. ANNIE C. RYAN. (Dec.10,1861) and MARY RYAN (Aug. 27, 1863). I also have a copy if an 1850 Census that list a possibility. Also, does anyone have the address where I can write to obtain a copy of my grandfathers birth certificate? If there is one then it should shed some light. For some unknown reason, my grandparents did not pass on any information and I have having quite a time of it. Don Ryan
