I am a descendent of Loammi Howard and Delilah Anne Prine. I am desperately searching for informtion on Loammi. I have that he was born somewhere in Georgia in 1804. He married Delilah Anne Prine in Mobile County on Jan 1, 1833 at her parents residence. They had several children: Mary Ann, Daniel, Emanuel (my ancestor), Kezekiah Karr, Harriet Axeth, John, Loammi Jr, George Washington, Susan Alavan, Emily Jane, and Franklin. The last child was born Apr 14, 1859. I have not been able to check the Mobile County Census' due to I live in Tennessee. Loammi is not buried in the same cemetary (Brannan, in Citronelle) as his wife. My questions are: When did he die? Since there is nothing on him after 1859, did he enlist in the Civil War and was he killed and buried somewhere else? Where in Georgia was he born, and who were his parents? There is also a Daniel Howard living in Citronelle at the same time. Some of his children have similar names as Loammi'. Was this his brother? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
