I know we have a lot of Baumhauer-related people on the list. I have been writing to two folks on the list who have Baumhauer connections, but we are stumped as to the birth information for Linda Dodds Baumhauer, wife of Jacques H. Baumhauer of Whistler. We think she was born in around 1881 and we know she died at 79 years of age in either 1960 or '61. But, what we're really wondering about is the Dodds part though. She was born too early to be a child to my great-great-aunt and uncle Mark Dodds and Maggie Myers Dodds of Whistler, as were they married in 1887. Mark Dodds was orphaned in the mid-1870s, but had several siblings, both older and younger. He and his family were originally from Tennessee. I'm wondering whether Linda Dodds Baumhauer could have been a niece to Mark. I've never heard about any siblings living in the Whistler area, but that doesn't mean there couldn't have been.
