Fellow researchers, Does anyone have the series of books published by the Mobile Genealogical Society listing death notices from newspapers of the 1800s? I need a look-up for the surname Wells. I am not sure of the year but would probably be before 1820. I am looking for the names of the parents of my ancestor, James B. Wells. They supposedly died in a yellow fever epidemic in Mobile. James was born in Georgia, but his parents were believed to be from New England. From an earlier query regarding epidemics in Mobile, I received information that there was an epidemic in Mobile in 1819 and that this particular set of books existed. Thanks in advance for any help.
