Patti, I am searching for my paternal grandparents: Willaim J. THOMPSON and Mary Caroline MIXON. They moved to Clarke Co. MS about 1880. I don't know what county they were in AL. I have just found that my grandmother gave information on Virginia Mixon in Dallas County in 1880, Virginia was a g daughter, 6 years old in 1880. Apparently Mary C. had been married to a Mixon before marrying THOMPSON. She is also listed in the MS 1880 census. Doubt if they were in Clarke Co. but who knows???? Thanks. Guess T. Simmons
