Dear Dorothy, My James Flinn was born 1814 and went to AL whild young with his parents. He could be one of the children listed in the 1816 Census of Monroe Co--but how would I know?? The male over 21 and the female under 21 could have been husband and wife, and the 2 males under 21 could be children. Someone also told me there are also Flinns listed in the book, Alabama Early Settlers 1816 "Alabama Counties--Mississippi Territory" by Briarwood Press, 1983: Flinn, John M. - Madison Co. Flinn, John M. - Monroe Co. There must have been two!! Patti
