    3. Hi Houston: Thanks for such a quick reply. I'm afraid I was hoping for one of those serendipitous goldmine strikes! My line is Dr. Mills Lewis who married Mary (Polly) Wiggins. Polly Wiggins was child of John B. Wiggins and wife Fannie King. All of this particular Wiggins research has been done by Agness Wiggins Gunter whom you probably know. Her work is carefully and skillfully documented and it is her plan to publish. The Thomas Wiggins, which your exchange with Cindy Patterson was about, was either the uncle or the brother of my Mary (Polly) Wiggins. According to Agness, the uncle of my Polly (brother to Polly's father, as above) would be Col Thomas Wiggins (1773-1830) who m. Sarah Davis (1778-1850). The brother of my Mary (Polly) Wiggins would be Thomas Wiggins (1791 - 1835) who m. Elizabeth George (1795-1824). Please be in touch with Agness for further clarification and input. [email protected] Interjecting myself into your exchange with Cindy Patterson was due to my interest in Lucretia R. LEWIS. The fact that she married a Wiggins and was also from this Clarke Co., AL area made me hope for a possible connection to my Dr. Mills Lewis who married Polly Wiggins. I know she is not their daughter, but hope she may turn out to be the daughter of a brother. Mill Lewis was from VA and had the following brothers: Lemuel, John, Elisha, Elijah, Benjamin and Miles. He almost certainly went to AL with one or more of Polly's brothers, but did any of his own brother's also go to AL? I have done very little research on this Lewis line, having only made the positive connection to the Wiggins line very recently and having only located Family Bible proof of parentage of Mills Lewis in early March of this year. Note to Kay and Sherry: Agness has Mary E. Wiggins (with spouse George W. Bates) as daughter of William Wiggins and spouse Sarah Marsh. This William Wiggins is another son of the John B. Wiggins and wife Fannie King. William Wiggins is also the brother of my Mary (Polly) Wiggins. So please include me with a copy of your E-mails as you work this line further. Looks like we're all cousins. Don't know where Frances L. Wiggins in the 1850 Washington Co. AL census fits in. Best wishes all around. Addice in Fairfax, VA.
