    3. Actually, the name is properly spelled Frohsinn and means to be in a happy mood or spirit. If the name was changed around the time of WWI, it may have been in response to anti-German sentiment at the time. Hamburger steaks were renamed Salisbury steaks for this reason at the time. When I was looking into this name change, the anti-German mood of the country was what I figured on, too. Your spelling of the name, however, escapes me. The map on which I found this name had the "SH" combination, as did the few Web hits I was able to locate.
