The Mobile Public Library Local History branch can be emailed at <mpllhg@acan.net> and can tell you if they have newspapers from those dates and if they are on microfilm. They can also give you the name and phone # of someone who will do research for a fee. Since I work and am handicapped I do not get downtown to MPL. The Mobile Genealogy Society might also be able to steer you to someone who does look-ups. Their email address is <mgsmobile@mobis.com>, their website is http://www.mobileroots.com, ph# 251-432-6474 M-W-F 10:30-2:30, Sat. 9 - noon.
