    3. Dear Group: Help, Help, Help. I have found a little more information about the Caminas'. On April 11, 1908, Antonia Fernandez Caminas, along with her two children (Hortensia age 2 and Antonio age 8 months), arrived in New Orleans, LA aboard the S.S. Excelsior to visit Antonio Caminas. Their passage was paid for by N.M.F. Co (Mobile). Antonio being her husband was said to be working for this N.M.F. Co. making the times for the Bellingrath home. Mr. Bellingrath had gone to Cuba to hire six men to come to America to work for him. Antonio arrived in New Orleans on Jan 11, 1912. The family story is that Hortensia then returned with her family to America at the age of 15. I am very interested in finding the ship manifest when the entire family came over. The group would have possibly consisted of 1 female adult with either three or four female children and two male children. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I have listed the full names below. As much as I know. Antonio Caminas - Father Antonia Fernandez Caminas - Mother Enrique Fernandez - Mother's brother, brought his sister and children over to America to be with husband. He then went back to Cuba to open a restaurant. He never married. Family lost touch and no one ever heard from him again. Mary Hortensia Fernandez Caminas - Eldest Daughter Anthony Caminas - Eldest son Emeline Caminas - Born 1909 Josephine Caminas - Born 1911 Charlie Caminas- Born 1916 Maria Olga Del Carmen Caminas - Born July 17, 1918 Thanks in advance for any and all help. Sincerely, Jennifer Lartigue _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
