In looking up the locations of where my ancestors lived, I found this map source very useful. It is RR maps from the early 1800s forward. It also shows the boundaries as they were at the time, which can be very important. Does anyone know of a site that paralell's Mobile and New Orleans history (since they had many similarities and were both part of LA?)
