    3. Sorry, I accidently sent this straight to Jabe. Anne C. ====================================== Jabe or anyone else, MapBlast didn't find Old Shell Rd., but I did see a group of streets (?) out to the west of town, called Austill Ave., Lane, and Place., just above C.R. 70. Could that possibly be the old Jeremiah AUSTILL property? His wife, Margaret Ervin EADES HAILS/ AUSTILL [ca.1805-1890], was the sister of my 2nd great grandmother, Mary Ann EADES GULLETT/ ERVIN/ GRAYSON. Until retiring to the family plantation in Clarke Co., they lived in "Spring Hill, near Mobile" and I've read that Margaret taught at the college. Jere was known as the hero of the "Indian Canoe Battle" in the Creek War, so I thought someone might know where he lived.
