James G. Rowe left a will in Mobile co.,Ala.--place called Spring Hill. Where is that place now ? Date was about 1865. He had a couple of daughters named Julia, and Minnie Rowe. What happened to them ? James had been born in Onslow, NC and left there about 1832. He married Margaret B. Johnson in 1831 and went to SC. Don't know when or why he went to Alabama. Carrie Rowe

Hi Carrie, Spring Hill is west of I-65 on Old Shell Road, about 7 miles. It is near the area of the University of South Alabama. I remember seeing the name ROWE in my research--maybe on a census??
