Hi there, I also remember Grand View Park with fondness. I remember going crabbing off the whart there. But I have to point out that the name perfectly describes how the park looked. It was a very beautiful park with old oak trees. Like many other places we remember with fondness, much of it was destroyed by Hurricane Frederick in 1979. It was never the same after that. Still, I was saddened that the site was used to build an apartment complex. Mary
