Hi. I am interested in the name of MALAYOSA in relation to the MCVOY family (aka MAKBOY, MACABOY) in the 1790's confirmations, and also in the earlier 1800's Escambia Co. Census records. Could this be the same as MELOS that is listed as ISABEL MCVOY's name in the 1784 census? I would appreciate any information on this particular surname in West Florida, Mobile, or New Orleans areas circa late 1700's to early 1800's. Thanks.
