Hello List Members, I am very interested in learning the details of the great Mobile, Alabama fire of 1919. It destroyed 40 city blocks. I am especially interested in the information contained in the Mobile newspaper.....are the names of any persons in Mobile listed in any of the articles? What caused the fire? The Mobile Public Library has a free pamphlet entitled "Mobile, Fire in the City" by George Schroeter. The source of his information is not given, but it is a nice article.
