This information is from the Alabama Civil War Roots Homepage. My G-grandfather, Eugene Lavarsha NUNNELEE, served in Co D of the 39th Al Infantry and died in 1909. His brother John NUNNELEE served the CSA from Ga but I don't know if he survived. Their older sister said she had a brother killed during the war: this would be either her brother John or William My NUNNELEE's were living in Macon Co Al during the war and G-Grandpa E.L. enlisted in Auburn, April 1862. Can anyone identify this William NUNNELLY or tell me where Co D, 10th Al Vol Inf Regmt was formed? Our "Nunnelee" surname is never ever spelled right so that's just insignificant! Thankyou for any information you can share! Kathye
