He died in Confederate service in the TransMississppi Dept. I would love to find his unit and how, when, & where he died. His parents were Joseph and Mary (Polly) White. His father was once mayor of Mobile in the early 1800's. His mother was born in SC, father was born in PA. Parents werer married 31, Dec, 1829 Washington, Al per LDS Siblings were Mary Eleanor, Sarah Ann, Oliva, Augusta, Carrie, & Laura Other families connected - Staples, Horne, Estes, & McDonald.
