I plan to follow them. I am researching Andrew W. Largent who served in the 40th Alabama Infantry, Company "B" (Picken's Planters). He was a 4th Sergeant and I am interested in learning more about what his specific duties might have been. The 40th Alabama was most active during the Civil War and I have been able to follow their path. Their activities are most interesting! I am waiting anxiously for records from Alabama and D.C. concerning Andrew W. Largent.They never seem to come fast enough.....but thank goodness the records are available. Again, thank you so much.
