I'm looking for my great grandfathers parents or siblings. In the 1900 census he had both of his parents listed as being from Alabama, and he was born in Alabama. In the 1900 census is is listed as John A. Strickland, it's also listed that way in the 1920 census. The 1900 census shows him beng born in Aug 1861 (listed as 38), the 1920 census has him listed as 60. In the marriage records it's listed as Albert Strickland On his tombstone in the Pleasant Grove Cemetary in Washington county Florida (1859-1934) it's John A Stricklen. One of his sons also spelled it Stricklen. The Social Security Death Index show his wife as Emma Strickland (while it's Stricklen on her tombstone). One of his parents my be Indian. One of the kind people already did a lookup for me on John Strickland, so I'm only looking for Albert Strickland this time. Thanks, Chris Strickland --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
