Looking for the family of Charles Robertson whose wife is Mattie Adams, born in 1888. They had at least one son, Arthur Emery Robertson. Thanks for your help. Melissa
I found this in 1920: 1920 Covington Co, AL Charles A. Robertson 34 MO MO MO merchant Agnes 21 AL AL AL Letie B. 8 MS MO AL Arthur E. 6 MS MO AL I don't see them in 1910. Charles may not have been married in 1910 and there are so many Charles Robertson's I would never find him without knowing more about him. There are several Charles Robertson's with a MO bithplace in 1910 who are boarders with other families. He might also still be living with his parents whoever they are. And I don't see them in 1930 to confirm any of the ages or birthplaces. Melissa Parker wrote: > Looking for the family of Charles Robertson whose wife is Mattie Adams, born in 1888. Thanks, that's the family. Someone else found Charles Robertson in 1930 in National Military home in Los Angeles, CA. I looked that up and found that in 1930, servicemen were not recorded with their families; instead they were treated as residents of their duty posts - so if you're looking for someone in the military, they won't necessarily be listed in their hometown in 1930. I didn't know Charles was in the military, but his age, birth place, etc. fits. Perhaps the rest of his family was still in Covington County in 1930 - his wife, Agnes, daughter Letie, and son, Arthur.
