I would like a census lookup on the 1930 census for James R. GANN , on the 1920 census he was in Etowah Co. He may have died in 1923, but am hoping to find the children. This is probably not a lot of help. The girls are probably all married by 1930 and I can't find them unless I know their married names. I can't find Bettus Ray, Linard or James H in 1930. Homer C. is in Norfolk VA in the military service. In 1920 James A. (A in 1900 & H in 1910), is married to a Blanche. They have a child J. B. age 6. In 1930, Blanche is divorced: 1930 Etowah Co, AL, Gadsden, ED 7, sht 10A Blanche Gann 41 GA GA GA divorced Lee Esky (brother) 31 GA GA GA widower, tester-rubber plant India Blackwood(boarder) 59 AL AL AL widow The son appears to be living with this family: 1930 Etowah Co, AL, Gadsden, ED 7, sht 6A (all birthplaces Ala) M. Fred Gann 24 salesman (can't decipher what type salesman) Buena Vista (wife) 22 Jesse (dau) 1 yr & 1 mon James Gann (boarder) 16 I don't see a good candidate for James A(H) in 1930. Here's George H.
