Well that answers my question. Even though they are clearly Indian in their pictures, they are not enumerated as Indian on this census and this is the census that the Creek Nation in Poarch uses to determine enrollment. They are listed as Indian in later census, but they were pretty severely persecuted in those days and if they could pass for white many did. My grandmother listed herself as white on my dad's birth certificate. Isn't awful that have to deny your heritage. Thank you for the lookup. I appreciate this info.
