Can someone double check an 1850 listing for Mary, or Meary, SIZEMORE on the 1850 census, Baldwin Co. Another researcher found a listing on Ancestry for a Massy SIZEMORE, Div., 1, page 233. Is this the same as the "Meary" which is on the transcribed 1850 Baldwin census online? Being absolutely sure of this given name is very important in our research and the different "deciphered" versions are causing us a lot of confusion. The 1850 Baldwin shows a Meary SIZEMORE age 80 and she is with known family. The 1860 Monroe Co. census shows Mary SIZEMORE age 101 with our known family. One transcribed version also has the name Mary SEYMORE. Thanks for any clarification on this census confusion! Evelyn Leslie
