Could you please look up the household of a R. Benson, wife Sarah Delaney? I am searching for the household composition for this family and the full data the census report can give. My great grandfather, Emanuel Robert Benson, married Ada Phillips on March 1, 1914 but at this point in my research, I do not know who the rest of his family was except that his parents were R. Hi, The only R. Benson listed in the AL 1900 census is R. B. Benson and his wife (whose name I couldn't decipher, but am sure isn't Sarah) in Cherokee Co. It was a much longer name starting with "L". these folks had been married only 11 years, so couldn't have had a son old enough to be married by 1914. One of their children was named Robert, but he was 1 year old in 1900.
