    3. Hi, I have a Census that I have looked up on Ancestry.com and the name is no where on the page. I am hoping maybe I did something wrong. 1910, Ellis, Cherokee, AL. William F. Tolbert-- b.abt 1861--GA. I went thru all the friends and neighbors also, and none of their names are on there also. Does this happen or is it me? Thanks for any help u can give me. 3. Deborah, This is a simple linking error as well as an omission of data. Ancestry has linked the incorrect image, showing you Precinct 18, STERLING, ED 17, Sheet 4B. (page 214B) Look at the index information shown for William F. Tolbert in Cherokee County, ELLIS Township. It tells you that the information is on page 224A. Normally, all you would need to do would be to locate the correct page number (224) instead of the linked page (214). In this case, however, the page numbers at Ancestry only go up to 216 and those higher page numbers have apparently not been loaded nor linked. You might want to send them a report that the Ellis precinct images are missing from their Cherokee County database. Just tell them that they furnish no pages after page number 216, and that you are specifically needing page 224, ED 18/Sheet 5A (the sheet containing the information for William Tolbert). In the meantime, you might want to request that someone do a transcription for you. We can do the lookup at Heritage Quest, but their census images are copyrighted by ProQuest and we aren't allowed to share the image itself. Good luck!
