    2. In the following census all are listed as black. I can't really decipher Julia's occupation. I thought it was "laundry" followed by another word but the word "laundress" appears twice on that page and it doesn't look much like the first word in Julia's occupation. The children are all shown "at school" and Julia is shown as owning her home. 1900 Montgomery Co, AL, 4th ward, page 176 Julia Jones 37 TN TN LA widow, 6 kids, 5 living Genieva (dau) 17 AL AL TN Cecil (son) 13 AL AL TN Maud (dau) 12 AL AL TN Leo (son) 10 AL AL TN Lenard (son) 7 AL AL TN Martin Brown (nephew) 13 AL AL TN Mary Huggins (mother) 55 AL LA VA widow, 2 kids, 1 living Melissa Parker wrote: > That's her, thank you so much for your help.
