If anybody has an index to the 1870 Ala. Census would apprciate a look up for James Carroll b. @1836 AL. I do not know the name of his wife as she had died before the 1880 census (where I found him in Smith Co. TX) James had children (all born AL) Jefferson b @1860 James J. b. @1862 Malcom b. @1865 Ida b. @1867 Martha b. @1869 William O. b. @1871 I would really like to find them to find the name of these childrens mother.
