    3. According to Yale Peabody Museum-GNIS http://www.peabody.yale.edu/other/gnis/AL.html ALCO BAPTIST CHURCH : church : Escambia : 310608N 0870526W : Brewton South ALCO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH : church : Escambia : 310550N 0870508W : Brewton South Additionally if you go to http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/web_query.gnis_web_query_form type in Alco as the place name and AL as the State it will pull up the Alco Post Office which is listed as historical. Unfortunately it doesn't pull a map for it. However it will for the Alco Churches listed I believe. You will need to click on the Feature Name of one of the Churches I believe it gives you several different options of maps. Hope this helps Marie Beckman http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rmbeckman/leaves.html >To: AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [AL-CEN] Al-Census-Lookup-Escambia County > > >I know this isn't a Census question but can someone tell me where ALCO was >located in Escambia County.
