Hello, Could someone please lookup the John AUSTIN (sometimes spelled Austion) family on the 1900 Lauderdale Co AL Census. Have seen him with both the middle initials of L. or R. He was born about 1832 in TN. I would like to know the names and ages of everyone in the household. Thanks for any help. Joy

Joy, Lots of Austin/Austons indexed in 1900 Lauderdale, several born TN, but none near the right age. Was he still living in 1900, or at age 68, might he have been enumerated in the household of a son instead of as head-of-household? There's a John Austin indexed in 1900 Lawrence County who is the right age and born in TN. What are the names of John's wife and/or any children?
