    3. The first FEDERAL census available for Mobile County is 1830: 1830 Mobile County, Alabama - Mobile City - page 362 Sam'l. H. Ganow - 0010101-0000001 (1 free white male aged 10-15, 1 aged 20-30, 1 aged 40-50 - 1 free white female aged 40-50) This may not be the one you're looking for. If age is correct for this census year, this one was born between 1780 and 1790, but he's the only one indexed in 1830 Mobile County whose name was close to Ganow. Good luck!
