I feel a little more sure about the Bell co Wesley Moore. Betty, There are MANY Moores indexed in 1870 Chambers County, but I don't find a Wes, West, Wesley or W. Moore enumerated there. Also several Wes and Wesley Moores who were born in Alabama indexed throughout the US in 1870, but none born about 1842. Did he live through the war? Where do you find him enumerated in 1880? Sorry I wasn't able to help. Hopefully someone else on the list will have better luck.
