    2. That William might be him but that same William is listed as William S. in 1870. William F. Tolbert is shown as born in Georgia in both the 1900 & 1910 census. In 1900 his wife is shown as Lorla V. also born Georgia. "Barbara A. 3. Hi, I figure you already know this but here it is, Patrick and Margaret and kids and Margarets sister Ann are up in Montgomery,AL in 1860. My ggrandmother was born in Montgomery,AL in 1840 where she married my gggrandfather William Smith after the Civil War in 1866. It was a common practice to marry in Mobile as immigrants came into America. The record shows that Patrick and Margaret are both from Ireland so I expect they immigrated in sometime after 1850 before 1852, 1860 > ALABAMA > MONTGOMERY > MONTGOMERY P O Series: M653 Roll: 19 Page: 146 Surname GivenName Age Sex Race Birthplace State County Location Year ROBERTSON PATRICK 29 M W IREL AL MONTGOMERY MONTGOMERY P O 1860 MARGARET 25 IRELAND ROBERT 5 SARAH A. 4 JAMES 3 MARY JANEC 3 BURNS, ANN 27 IRELAND Ernie Smith Charleston,SC
