In that case, maybe you sent it to the subscribe adddress instead of to the list address, they are 2 different addresses, one has the word "request" in the address & the list address to post to doesn't have that word in it, maybe you just sent it to the subscribe address???? I see a good possibility for Henry in Alabama but I can't make a connection to Lucy. Did Henry live past 1930? Did he and Lucy have any children? Would any of Lucy's children by her prior marriage be living with her in 1930. What were the names of Lucy's children by her prior marriage? Jean, I have searched the various census years from 1880 - 1930 trying to find your Harvey Anderson Rice and/or his wife Lucy. I could not find them anywhere, with any degree of certainty. There is one possibility for 1880. There is a "Andreson" Rice age 4 living in the household of his father Isaac R. Rice and mother Caroline and 6 other siblings. They are in Shelby County, AL. You can view the transcription details for the 1880 census at www.familysearch.org This might be a possibility to pursue. Do you have any idea where and when Harvey Anderson Rice and his wife Lucy died? -----Original Message----- From: David Gilliam [mailto:gilliammamag@cox.net] Sent: Monday, September 19, 2005 2:23 PM To: AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [AL-CEN] Harvey Anderson Rice Dear List, I am looking for information on my step grandfather Harvey Anderson Rice.
