I suspected that it would be hard to read because I believe the "Marguys" surname is really "Marquis", an elusive Macon county ancestor I've been trying to trace. I'm suspecting that the surname he's residing with is "Fitzpatrick, because he married into that family. If anyone else out there would care to give it a shot, I'm looking for George "Marguys" or "Marquis" on p. 300 of the 1850 federal census index. Would like to know who's household he's in.
