    1. [AL-CEN] Who does the lookups (from the list Mom)
    2. Maureen
    3. This is just a reminder of how the list works. (since someone was asking I thought I would take a moment to go over this again..) Anyone on the list can do a lookup (The more the better!!!) The only requirement's are to be a subscriber of the list & to have access to census information. Even if you have only one page of a census, someone might be looking for information that just happens to be on that one page !!! Some places you can find census information -- Your local library, Census CD's you might own, Your local genealogical society, You may have access to Ancestry.com's census subscription, or access to Geneaolgy.com's census subscription, USgenWeb census transcription project. If anyone can add to the above list, PLEASE do.. The more information we all have, the more infromation we can ALL use.. Last but by NO means least.. I'd like to again thank ALL of out volunteer's for the Wonderful job they are doing for the member's of our list. Ya'll are GREAT!!!! Maureen List Mom God Bless America !!

I am the list admin. for the SC Census lookup lists our lookups are done by other subscribers who have access to the requested records. I will search the National index of the 1880 and see if I can find more for you now that I have an age range to look for Hope this helps Marie B Paula wrote: <snip> I do have a question. 3. Marie Beckman, Thank you for the 1880 Alabama Census. I don't think this is my Elizabeth. Her husband Abner Triplett did not pass away until 10 Sep 1881 so she would not have indicated she was a widow during the 1880 census. Also, my Elizabeth passed away 18 Dec 1885 at the age of 86. This Elizabeth is only 63. I appreciate your efforts and time though. I do have a question.
