Looking for Asa Hamby (born bet 1879-1881) in the 1920 census. Need help from someone with access to the Soundex. Thought he was in Winston Co, AL, but have browsed that county on Ancestry.com with no luck. Was in Winston Co in 1910 census, Marion Co in 1900. Have report he may have moved to Marshall Co late in life. Am currently subscribed to 1900 census at genealogy.com and would be more than happy to trade look-ups. Thanks in advance for any assistance! Sherry Hamby slhamby@carolina.net
I hope someone can help me! I am desperately looking for a Jimey/Jim/Jerry/Jesse/James/Joseph (or if it would make it simpler, any names beginning with "J") JOHNSON in the 1860, 1870 census for any of these counties...Butler, Lee, Russell, Macon. I am having a real problem here as this family has nicknames and I can't seem to sort them out. If anyone could help me by looking these up and sending me any information you might find, I would *really* appreciate it! If I am out of line asking for all of this, please forgive me, I just don't know how else to do it! Thanks ever so much!! Anyone know which district 2605 Thirty first Ave. North would be in, in 1920 Census? I need to find William S Sigsbee/Sigsby and family. He was killed in 1927 in the Bush Hills Section. A volunteer from RAOGK found three front page news stories about his death for me, although she says the copies aren't very good she is mailing them to me.Would like to get the names of his three children and wife to hopefully find them. Thankyou Cheryl

Dear List, I just received a reply to census information sent to Sue Mulligan yesterday. It didn't come from Sue, but from "From: larry & Val [mailto:pa-pa@gbis.com]". It had an attachment named "Card.pif". My Norton Antivirus software caught it so no damage was done. If any of you receive such a message, please be cautious. Carol
Marie, This is the correct family. How about that. You and my husband are cousins. George & Rebecca Mosley are his GGgrandparents as well. I had to pull the FTW to make sure.
