Looking for John Henry Clifton born about 1856 AL wifes name Mary (?). Also looking for brother William L Clifton born Feb 1867 AL wifes name Cordellia (Carter).
I'm looking for my great-grandfather as a young boy abt 13 living with his mother that probably has remarried. She may have married a Collins. Her name in 1850 was Arah C. Hicks Barker, living with her two small children, John 3yrs and Aryane 2 yrs. old. Their father Andrew J. Barker not listed with them. Arah C. Hicks Barker and children were living with her brother John A. Hicks and her mother Tabitha Hicks in Upson County, GA. Sometimes after the 1850 Upson County, GA census they moved to Barbour County, AL and we lost them until John gets married in Barbour County, Al 1866. If anyone has the 1860 Barbour County, AL census and can find John Barker listed under Collins surname or Hicks surname and he is a child maybe with his little sister Aryane, I would appreciate knowing the info on the census. Thank you, June
