    3. Lea, I would be most interested. This has been a tangled web of a family. No records have been kept in the family. Most of what we have has been found through the census. The earlier census makes it hard to locate a family. I am hoping that maybe someone has more documentation that I have just not found or heard of at this time. She would be in the Cottondale area, probably listed in the Kennedale Cotton Mill area. She is probably a widow, and approx. 45 years old. She had a son named Will H. who would be 24 years old in 1900. There are several variations of the surname. I will list the ones I have seen below. Gillam Gillum Gillem Gillen Gilliem I know this will make this more difficult, but I hope someone will try to help me. Thanks! 3. Janet, Thanks for the lookup on Walter Foster. I should have asked earlier if there were any other Foster's in Randolph Co in 1850. I think he may have been the only one but I'm not sure. Val
