    1. [AL-CEN] OVENS....Please help!
    2. Faulk fam
    3. Looking for info on father of Margaret Bernard Ovens(died in early childhood), Marion Priscus Ovens/Sheppard, Mabel Ambrozine Ovens/Sheppard Vucovich, Joseph Patrick Ovens/Sheppard, Virginia Purim Ovens/Sheppard Hummel, Lillian Frances Ovens/Sheppard Lind, Paul Edwin Ovens/Sheppard and Fordham J. Ovens/Sheppard. Their mother was Ann Christine Jones Sheppard and she was married to Joseph Sheppard and lived in Pensacola. Joseph was my g-grandfather born abt. 1887 in Pensacola d. 8 Nov 1938 at State Docks in Mobile, Al. Not sure when Sheppard name came into play as story has it that their father (Ovens) ran off and their mother then married Joseph Sheppard(so some of these children may have not actually been OVENS') or it may have been a grandmother or ggrandmother who brought the Sheppard name into the family. If anyone is researching the name OVENS, please contact me. This is a brick wall I just cant break. Will appreciate any info. Thanks so much in advance. 2. TwoWolvesDancing
    3. Hello. Can someone help me. I live in PA and all of the old generation that lived there are gone. John M. (believed to be Munfred) Smith was born on 12/26/1859 and claimed that his father - James M. Smith was born in AL and his mother - Name: Unknown was born in TN. They lived at one time in Paris TN. John eventually ended up in Brinkley, Monroe County, AR in the 1900 Census, married to Mary M. Weir... my great- grandparents. I got this off John's death certificate. A cousin once thought that John's brother was a Thomas, although that could have been mistook for Mary's brother and uncle. God bless. Peace and blessings. Dolores Cobb Phifer

Hello Listers, I hope you all have had a good holiday :) I am coming to you with yet another request. I am sending this e-mail to two different lists with the hope that someone will be able to help me. I am looking for the family of Benjamin Harrison Wade and his wife Mary Pauline Wolf Wade. In 1900 they were in Cherroke County, Alabama and I suspect would have moved again due to the fact that Benjamin was a railroad worker. I know I am going about this kind of backwards, but I could really use your help. If ANYONE has access to the 1910 Census index or Soundex (I know there isn't a soundex , I just can't think of the name for what was used for the 1910 census) could you please look up this family and either e-mail the chart or copy it and charge me for the cost and mail it to me, anything will be greatly appreciated, thanks again.
