Brenda, Ancestry.com has an index (by subscription) but if you don't have access to it let me know and I will look at it for you. They are listed by head of household only. Send me the names and I will see what I can do. Janet
Janet, I am looking for the parents of Gilbert Lolley. I have him on AR census as Gilbert L. Lolley. In 1860 he would have been between the ages of 1 and 7, (I have two different birth dates). If you could tell me the names of head of household for the year 1860, under this spelling, it would help immensely. Would someone who has the 1900 census for Franklin County, AL please provide me with the census for Reuben Ashley Jr. if he is listed. He may have been in Randolph County at that time but I am not certain just when he entered Franklin County. His wife should be listed as Martha. Her full name was Minnie Martha Elizabeth but grandpa called her "Mat" as long as they were married. I would appreciate the additional data that might be listed also, such as names of children, where born, ages, etc. Best regards, Jane Ashley Benson

Need a lookup for the family or any related individuals with same last name...for one Horace Finley/Findley. He was married to one Victoria Sams, they were from the Leesburg area of Alabama(Cheerokee Co). They had several children, but only remember one. Her name was: Gussie Dean Finley/Findley b: 28 April 1918 in Leesburg, AL. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Angela Underwood-Markes
Stacey; Any chance we could get you to volunteer to transcribe that Census? We have great softwrae that makes the job very easy. We would post the census transcription online free for anyone with a computer to use. You would be free to publish a book of the transcription, as the copyright would be your. The pay is the gratitude of future users of the transcription. Normally I ask my volunteers for 2-3 hours a week. They can finish an average sized transcription in 3 months. Since that Census has 225 pages it might take 4-5 months to complete. Earnie R. Here are three online resources with online transcriptions: www.rootsweb/~cenfiles/al or substitute any other postal code for the AL By my US Gen WEb Census Project http://www.us-census.org/usgwcens/ by the other Census Project (Don't ask me why yhere are twp Projects, It happened before I came along. http://www.census-online.com/links/ This done by a private individual . Generally most online censuses will be listed in one of these. For your info Both census groups have the 1850 Shelby County transcription. Either or both of us could use transcribers to help us get more online asap. Earnie R. Can someone please tell me what district Anderson, Alabama is or was in 1910? It is in Lauderdale County and I thought it would be in the Rogersville area. I am looking for the family of James Gibson (Gipson) b.1858, and wife Nancy b.1862. Their daughter, Sarah Treadway and two children should be listed with them. Sarah's husband had died in 1909.
