Whoops, just noticed. It says she was a widow. Oh, dear. Thanks.
Janet, I am absolutely grateful to you. While I didn't find Joseph, you sent his family. E. is my gggrandmother, John is my ggrandfather. Joseph may have left his family. There is a Joseph Mabry who died in Tuscaloosa in 1881 but I have been unable to verify if it was my grandparent. Thank you so much. Only a genealoogist knows how much this means.

I've probably asked this before, but since we have some new members, hopefully with new info, I'm going to ask again. If anyone has the 1840 Census, for Lowndes or Montgomery Co (sorry, still not sure which) I'm looking for Charles Beck b abt 1803 GA, wife Catherine Campbell Beck b abt 1805, NC. They would only have 2 children at this time (well, maybe three, depending on what month the third child was born) The children are Andrew Quincey Beck b abt 1838, AL; Catherine M. Beck b abt 1839 AL, and Flora Ann Beck b abt 1840, AL. Charles and Catherine were married in 1830 in Lowndes Co, and I've found some land info on Charles in Montgomery Co. The family was still in AL in 1847, but in AR by 1850. If anyone has anything, I could use all the help I can get. My great uncle, Charles Woodrow Beck in almost 80, and he's really having trouble remembering things. I'd love to finish this line for him. He's curious to see how far the Charles name goes. It's been in every gene! ration from the one in my request to his great grandson, who will name one of HIS sons Charles. It must be an order from the mother ship, because I'm sure this is where this family came from!!!! Thanks !
