    1. [AL-CEN] John Albert Strickland
    2. Chris Strickland
    3. I'm trying to find his parents. I found him in the 1900 census in Dale Alabama, he was the head of household and listed as as being born in 1861 and age 38. (Though I have some sources that say he was born in 1859) He lists his parents as being born in Alabama. He supposebly lived in Geneva county in the early 1900's, and I have confirmed him living in Washington County Florida in the 1920 census. I would like to find a census where he was living with his parents, most likely the 1870 and maybe the 1880 census when he would be 8-11, and 18-21. If anyone has an index of these two censuses, I would appreciate if you could try a lookup and see if you can see John Albert as a boy living with his parents. Thanks, Chris Strickland --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.317 / Virus Database: 176 - Release Date: 1/21/2002

Dwelling 72, Family # 76 Wife's Initial ia L Second son is Eldon C. 3rd son Harmon I At first I went with Harrison, but there are not enough humps for that so Harmon it is. the daughter seems to be Grafine A. The 10 year old son appears to be Roy A. The connection is from the top of the letter rather than the right side. Last son is Eugene B. 1. [AL-CEN] Montgomery/GADDIS/1880
    2. Hello, I'm looking for a GADDIS family in the 1870 census for the city of Montgomery. I only have initials for the husband. J.E.J. GADDIS married Hildegarde BRUGMANN on 2 July 1868 in Putnam County, Ohio. According to a small bio for Hildegarde's mother, Wilhelmina Armbrecht Brugmann Stout, Hilda and her husband were living in Montgomery, Alabama. J.E.J. & Hilda had one son named George M. GADDIS born about 1869. George had 2 daughters, Lola and Katherine GADDIS (mother unknown). Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Debbie http://www.geocities.com/dhc4222/
