Hi Dan, After searching for your Laura & Charlie using several variations of the names I still could not locate them for you. I tried both Jefferson & Talladega Counties and also searched statewide. If you can think of any other names that she may have went by let me know and I will search again. Janet

Would someone be kind enough to look up LAURA M. CLANTON in the 1880 census for Jeffeson Co. (possibly Talladega Co.)? She would be approx. 28 years old and would have a son Charlie A. (his surname possibly Yarbrough--may be listed as Clanton). He would be approx. 10 years old. Thanks Dan Conner Dan
Thanks a lot Janet. Rodney
Does anyone have access to the 1830 Bibb Co AL census? I am trying to determine if any POOL(e) is living there then. I know by 1837 two had arrived, but trying to determine a more precise time of arrival. Thank you for any help. Leslie Hill
Would like a lookup for Thomas Tucker Wife Elizabeth. Not sure how many children but my grandmother Mary Malissa born 1873 Thanks
Dan, I could not find any of the names you listed in 1880. I ran a statewide search for them with no luck. There were no Yarbrough's in Talladega Co. at this time. Janet

Wow! Your guess is as good as mine. It could be that they tried to crowd in an a after the M, which leads to the possibility of Maudy. The M and Y are certainties. sorry not to be able to help more. -----Original Message----- From: Gary Hester [mailto:genehest@BellSouth.net] Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2002 3:16 PM To: AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AL-CEN] 1900 Franklin Co Al Could someone look on the: William Carroll Hester household 1900 US census Al Franklin county ED 23 Sheet 6 Page 262A Belgreen precinct 7 dwelling 102, family 104 I need help on the 5th name after Stout Fred - M??by can any one make out the name. I need a look-up, please, for: LAURA M. YARBROUGH in the 1880 Talladega Co census. She would be approx. 28 years old and would have a son Charlie Albert Yarbrough less than 5 years old. Laura was a widow but there is some question of the time of her husband`s death. His name was William T. Yarbrough (W.T.) If he is still alive in 1880, he would be approx. 41 years old. It is possible they were in the Childersburg area. Thank you very much! Dan Conner
