Story Goes: Clois Holloway married Leon D Moon Randolph Co, Al. During a visit with them several years ago Clois made the remark she didn't want to talk about the James. Seems she was related to Jesse James and was embarrased about it, Her parents were Ben Edgar Holloway and Kennie A Banford. I have been so busy with Moon's that I haven't had the time to get into James. Grandpa Leon died 4 yrs ago and Grandma Clois Moon d last Dec 17 never telling me anymore about James line. SO SAD, I missed the opportunity to clear that up. Betty

Delores: I can only find half a dozen households in my LDS records...Raines, Rains, & Ryon.....for Walker County. There is only one William and he is listed as William F. RYON, son, born 1873. Do you want this one ? I know. I was just sitting here basking in the glow and slow in answering ! I don't know, Betty. These James kin of mine were cousins to the Frank/Jesse James family lines and they just "hiked up their britchy legs and followed the wind" and that was the reason I couldn't find them, or at least had to post "unknown county" in my earlier message. I had sort of figured maybe Randolph cause they combined with my Ashley line sometime shortly thereafter and the Ashleys were in Randolph, Cleburne counties around the turn of the century. If I find I do have a Belle James later on, I'll be sure to get back to you on it. At the present time, I just don't know. I've got to try to find Henry as a 4 year old kid somewhere in TN, now that I know where he was born to see who his parents were......boy! my ancestors sure left me some awfully long rows to have to hoe! And, sometimes, I just throttled the Federal Governement for destroying that much needed 1890 census.........
