    3. Clayton, I didn't find a marriage for Marjorie, but you shouldn't have a problem finding the name of her husband. Order a copy of her son's death certificate from GEORGIA: George A. Davis, died May 11, 1949, at age 17 years, in Houston County, Georgia - Certificate #10409 I also found in death records: Ione Murray, died Feb 1931, Henry County, Alabama - (In "comments" line - WD), Vol. 7, Roll 3, page 3172 The closest match that I could find for Walter D. Murray is this one: Walter D. Murray, died December 6, 1962, age age 79 years, in Terrell County, Georgia - Certificate #35475 I found nothing in either state for Marjorie Day Davis. Sorry. If you will give me the month of her death, I will try again. 3. Linda You are a real help. Marjorie Day davis died in 1943 according to her grave. I don't know where she died but I guess it was likely AL or Ga. George Alfred Davis died in 1949. I am clueless yet about her marriage but her name is definately Davis and if G.A. is her son then she married an unknown Davis after the 1930 census. Sometimes this becomes a process of elimination and I appreciate all your patience. 3. Sue, Lessie was 25 in 1930 and reports on that census that she'd only been married since she was 19, which would be for six years. Angelo, on the other hand, claims to have been married for nine years, since age 30, so I don't know which is right, or if Angelo was married prior to Lessie. At any rate, I found apparent brothers Paul and Alonso Antenora in 1920 Tuscaloosa County, working as coal miners, and it's probable that the brother shown as Alonso is Angelo instead, if for no other reason than the fact that he named a son Paul. I believe this is your family in 1930 indexed as ANTUNES: 1930 Tuscaloosa County, Alabama - Brookwood - April 5, 1930 - ED 151/Sheet 4B 71 - Antinero, Angelo, head; renting/$5; M W 39 Md @ age 30; IT IT IT; immigrated 1912; miner/coal mines Lessie, wife; F W 25 Md @ age 19; AL GER AL Mark, son; M W 7 S; born AL Paul, son; M W 4 2/12 S; born AL Joseph, son; M W 2 2/12 S; born AL James, son; M W 6 months S; born AL Alabama death records show that a Paul Antinoro died October 1934 in Jefferson County. It might be a good idea to order his death certificate in case he's the brother of your Angelo. Paul Antinoro - died october 1934 - Jefferson County - Volume 45, Roll 3 - page 22319 Good luck! 3. I wasn't able to find this family in 1930 Alabama, so went back to take a look at 1920, hoping for some further clues. Based on the fact that the 16-year-old daughter shown on the 1920 census was named Vivian instead of Virginia, I believe this to be your Paul Smith, who says this time that he was born in AL instead of MS, though Mary (Lula?) and Vivian were born in MS. And yes, the daughter's name was definitely Vivian in 1920. 1930 Mobile County, Alabama - Mobile City, Precinct 10 - April 7, 1930 - ED 89/Sheet 7A 762 Broad Street 149 - Smith, Paul, head; owns/$5000; M W 52 Md @ age 21; AL AL AL; construction/sawmill Mary, wife; F W 51 Md @ age 19; MS MS MS Masters?, Vivian, dau; F W 26 Md @ age 19; born MS; bookkeeper/furniture store ___achal, son-in-law; M W 26 Md @ age 19; AL AL AL; driver/laundry Good luck! 3. Can someone please lookup William and Nancy Griffith and their children Anna and Abraham in the 1900-1930 Jackson County Census? They were in Jackson County in the 1880 census. William and the children are listed as black and Nancy is listed as mulatto. They are all listed as being from TN. Thank you for any help!
