Sandra, My only source for the 1830 images is through a subscripton to Ancestry, owned by MyFamily.com, and copyrighted by them, so I'm not allowed to share. Shouldn't be a problem to locate the correct sheet and make a copy at your library, though, with the township and correct page number. Good luck! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, March 20, 2004 11:15 AM Subject: Re: [AL-CEN] 1830/Mobile/GANOW > yes, I believe that is him. The first FEDERAL census available for Mobile County is 1830: 1830 Mobile County, Alabama - Mobile City - page 362 Sam'l. H. Ganow - 0010101-0000001 (1 free white male aged 10-15, 1 aged 20-30, 1 aged 40-50 - 1 free white female aged 40-50) This may not be the one you're looking for. If age is correct for this census year, this one was born between 1780 and 1790, but he's the only one indexed in 1830 Mobile County whose name was close to Ganow. Good luck! Dear Linda, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the 1910 lookup of Steel H. Partin. Have been told that he and his wife, Myrtle C., were divorced after several years of marriage. Could you please look him up on the 1920 Census to see if they are still in Jefferson Co AL? Thanks for your help. Joy

Hello, can someone please lookup Wesley ECHOLS in 1870 Macon County ALabama on page 056 in Tuskegee township. I am looking for James Wesly Echols and his wife Caroline, both were black. Thank you
Please find Dr. J. BEVINS (Bevins, Bivens, Bevens, etc.), a medical doctor, in the 1870 U.S. census of Jefferson County. His wife was Belle (Menilla Isabell.). They had a daughter named Beatrice. They lived in Warrior or Bessemer. Bill Allen <[email protected]>
Same method, Angela. Search for Rowell in Bullock, AL, Sardis township. It will show you the list of individuals in Prince Rowell's household: Prince, Hulda, Charles, Hannah, and Giles. Notice also that the pages are out of sequence, and Samuel Rowell, age 8, was also enumerated in HH #21, but is not on the page following the Prince Rowell family at Ancestry. Angela, I see them the same as the Ancestry indexer did, except that Doot looks more like Dore to me. If you will do a search for all those folks in Bullock County who were indexed as "Youndblood" in 1870, it will give you the indexer's interpretation of each name in Jesse's household.
