I wasn't sure which year was more important, so I chose 1850 for this request. The list guidelines state one year and one family per request, but feel free to make another request for 1840. 1850 Tallapoosa County, Alabama - Townshp 24 - January 9, 1850 - page 123 1816 - Solomon Ray, age 38; farm; $200; born GA Jane, age 40; born GA Elizabeth, age 20; born GA Silus, age 19; farm; born GA Barbara, age 18; born GA John, age 17; farm; born GA Basherby (Bathsheba), age 14; born GA Lucinda, age 12; born GA Sarah, age 10; born GA Frances, age 6; female; born GA Ellick R., age 4; male; born GA Marcus, age 1; born GA Ransom was indexed twice as appearing in an 1855 census, but I wasn't able to find him in 1850 on either of the pages where he was indexed. You might want to try a page by page search of 1850 Tallapoosa County to see if you can locate him. Linda in Georgia Reminder - Subject line should read Year/County/SURNAME - thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara A. Terry, Without my having to do the 1920 lookup to get the information, can you tell me this gentleman's approximate age, race, place of birth? Thanks. Hello, Can anyone assist with census information for Thomas Jackson Rasco for the years 1900 & 1910. I'm not sure where he'd be in either census. I know a wife Fannie Esque Hanes Rasco died in Cullman Co. in 1904, buried in Mt. Pisgah Cem., Baileyton. I found him as Thomas J. Rosco, Odenville, St. Clair Co. in 1920. He died ca. 1926 and is buried in Mt. Pisgah, Baileyton, Cullman Co., AL. Fannie Esque (maybe Eliza) should be the 1900 wife's name. A daughter Queen Esther Elizabeth should be among the children. Have no idea about what the wife's name is in 1900-1910. Supposedly, he had 3 wives before he died. I've seem his name listed T.J. Rasco, Thomas J. Rasco, Jack/Jackson Rasco. Thanks for any assistance. Terry Jackson
No WW Johnson indexed in 1900 Marion, but lots of names that begin with W. Surely you know something that would help me figure out which ones I should spend the time to download without having to do them all in order to see if any have a wife named Frances. Those insignificant "details" like approximate age, place of birth and especially which race would help me to narrow the field and perhaps find the one you need. What else do you know that I have no way of knowing? There are two Johnsons indexed in 1900 in the entire state of Alabama as W. W. - W. W. Johnson, age 75, white, born AL, in Conecah County W. W. Johnson, age 23, white, born AL, in Lee County Linda in Georgia ----- Original Message ----- From: "Merch" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 02, 2004 1:42 PM Subject: [AL-CEN] 1900/Marion County/Johnson > Thanks Linda, could I have a lookup for W, W.
