Don't know if I've posted here before, but I have been lurking about reading the posts! My Akins line possibly goes from GA, TN then MO. This is what I have: James Akins - b. 6 January 1793 TN We have a census that shows him living in GA as an adult. His wife is Elizabeth Garner Their son is Nathan Akins, b. 1 October 1844 in Polk, MO He marries Mary Tendle They have a son Thomas Ellis Akins, b. 5 March 1887 in Seeder County, MO Thomas marries Oma Rickman. Their son is my grandfather. Do any of these names ring a bell? Sandie Akins Gage
