Please let me know when you get the record and who the parents are. With that info I can check birth records for Ireland and see if I can find definate siblings and a possible marriage record for her parents, etc. I have scattered census records, marriage, birth, a few death records for Ireland and Scotland. It is not complete, but every bit helps. My grandmother's mother was an Akin. Fannie Mae Akin born in Arkansas. Her dad, John Hensley Akin, died when she was 4 or 5 and no one knew anything about the family. At the time I was working on a different line and my grandmother asked me to stop and see if I could find info on her Akin family. So far I have managed to get back to about 1760 Henry & Pittsylvania Cnty, VA., Nicholas Akin who married Jane Watson, dau of Michael Watson. I know nothing about Nicholas' parents, just guesses, not nothing good enough or solid. No problem with the questions. They don't bother me at all. Anyway I can help, let me know.
